A philosopher at heart, Nick Horman sought to find the perfect pickle. Unable to achieve this pinnacle of crunchy taste, he founded Horman’s Best Pickles to provide customers with diverse and quality pickles. His shop’s philosophy draws from Socrates’ wisdom in Plato’s Apology, exclaiming that “the unexamined pickle is not worth eating.” With this dedication to quality in mind, he sells 11 varieties of specialty pickles including kosher dill, sweet Cajun, red flannel, honey mustard, and new dill. Patrons can purchase the pickles through his regular appearances at local farmer’s markets and in the back of your refrigerator.
