2.5-Star Olympia Hotel, Olympia

I've used several groupons in my life, and while they're often great deals, that shouldn't take away from the quality of what you're purchasing. The Hilton DoubleTree in Olympia failed to mention that they would be booking people in a construction zone. When renovating, don't put people on the same floor, let alone 3 doors down from the drop sheet. We had to listen to power tools for the first 5 hours of check in. Not the peaceful rest I was looking for.

I booked the most expensive Junior Family Suite which according to the description on Groupon has 1 King bed and 2 queen beds but when we checked in and got to our room, they only gave us a room with a king and a single pullout sofa. I had 2 adults and 3 kids that’s why I booked this suite specifically. The front desk insisted it was a Groupon error and confirmed only a king bed room. So very disappointed. The room type we booked was not available that night and so she just said talk to Groupon. In the end, the front desk just offered another room, not adjoining so my family has to split.

Very clean

They cut corners and it really shows. There was loud music from a bar next to the hotel until late night. The jacuzzi had old diaper bits in it which ended up in your swimsuit. The front desk staff was only okay and there was construction which was not mentioned.
