I booked a Reiki session at Intuitive Wanderer with Janelle Magdaleno, expecting relaxation and healing, but left feeling othered and uncomfortable. Janelle Magdaleno’s inappropriate questions and comments about my identity as a Black woman and lesbian felt unprofessional in a healing space. Instead of feeling rejuvenated, I left feeling excluded. This is not a healing space for all.

Even though I thought we were having an interesting discussion about what LGBTQ+ community might be facing I see how it was inappropriate to point out the challenges in the world. I want to reassure you that I celebrate diversity and welcome all with love. I sincerely apologize for betraying your trust as a healer.
