Mary gives her clients plenty of time to admire their little ones as she glides an advanced GE Voluson 730 ultrasound-imaging system across bellies, capturing realistic 3-D and 4-D images of the unborn child moving around. And to enhance each bonding experience, the traditional sepia-colored image on the machine can be transformed into blue or pink tones to represent the gender of the baby. Mary is sometimes even able to pick out which family traits the baby possesses, such as an aquiline nose or a beautiful singing voice.
