• Aquavana Experience: The experience is broken up into coed areas and single-gender environments. In the latter, guests optionally de-robe, then glide between a Finnish dry-heat sauna, tranquil steam room with a giant crystal, herb-infused humid room, and cooling Igloo room. In the coed spaces, men and women relax in the Salt Grotto, nibble on fresh fruit in the Conservatory, and sit under a domed canopy that simulates breaking waves in the Wave Room.

• Climbing Wall: Where some spas have a fitness facility with maybe a few machines, Canyon Ranch SpaClub has fitness and mind-body classes, nutrition consultations, and provides guests with a 40-foot climbing wall with climbing rocks to conquer.

• Unconventional Treatments: In addition to classic massages and facials, the spa's wellness experts perform Ayurvedic treatments, such as shirodhara, which drizzles oil onto the third eye while Indian balancing bowls are placed on the soles of the feet.
