What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We take a holistic approach to Early Childhood Education, we understand that many different aspects need to be met for a child to be able to learn and achieve their potential. The main focus of our philosophy and curriculum is addressing a child’s social emotional development.

Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
The Meadows Early Learning Center also values the importance of good nutrition, and offers a hot breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack made from 100% natural ingredients, with no preservatives, added sugars or artificial colors. Children need to bring diapers, wipes and spare clothes.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Students at The Meadows will be encouraged to identify their feelings, respect the emotions and ideas of others, and learn important social skills such as sharing, taking turns and teamwork. The Meadows also offers a unique approach to playtime, with two one-hour outdoor play breaks scheduled daily.

What do you love most about your job?
Because The Meadows is not a corporate child care center, McDonald’s sole ownership allows her to make sure that her staff is happy, competent and well cared for, a key ingredient in the recipe for success in a children’s learning environment.
