About Sanctuary Fitness

Classes at Sanctuary Fitness aren't just about chiseling perfect six-packs or losing poundage. Sure, the passionate instructors lead regular cycling classes and strength-based interval training sessions that can certainly help those goals become a reality. But just as important as the physical transformations that take place in those classes are the mental and spiritual ones.

One of the primary mottos at Sanctuary Fitness is “Peace Through Perspiration.” In other words, the team here believes that unplugging from the outside world and getting in a good workout won’t just help your body achieve an optimal state of health, but also give your mind a focused rest and your pent-up emotions a cathartic release. So in addition to providing fun, yet high-intensity workouts, they work to help clients feel “mentally and spiritually recharged” by the end of every class.

The music was bumping and the instructor was knowledgable and motivating. The workout is intense but it goes by really fast due to the intervals. I am excited to try this out and get stronger.

Beginners beware. The staff and instructors are awesome. Aubrey is my favorite. However, my problem is with the class itself. This is more for intermediate to advanced students. You will only be shown how to do the movements ONCE. I was confused most of the time. There is so much going on it feels chaotic. If you are a beginner or not coordinated or have never done HIIT before you may get hurt, like I did.

Instructor had the best music and felt such a good vibe for being my first group class post quarantine! Safe space for sure.
