What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

Dr. Anton Stenzler, who graduated from Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine in 1963, served as president of Westchester/Rockland Veterinary Medical Center for 2 years and was involved with the Rockland County rabies clinic for many years. He opened up his practice in Pearl River, NY in 1970.Working side by side with her father at the Pearl River Animal Hospital (Rockland County) since 1992, Dr. D. Stenzler continues to have amazing results treating chronic ear, skin, and paw dermatologic diseases –conditions that had resisted previous treatment attempts.

It's in the genes. Dr.D Stenzler's father, Dr. A. STENZLER started the hospital taking care of loving pets since 1970 and hasn't looked back since!

What do you love most about your job?

Besides puppy kisses? Making the animals better!

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

A woman brought her cat to me that was suffering and lost most of its hair from full body sores. I discovered that it was untreated allergies causing a yeast infection. Within 2 months, the cat was happy, comfortable, grew back all of its hair and the owner was ecstatic. The cat was healed!
