SAS Fabrics’ huge warehouse store is bare bones on the style side, but houses one of the largest collections of fabrics and sewing accessories in the Valley. Piles and piles of choices beckon, from elegant contemporary fabrics to budget staples to curious vintage patterns. Some of the designs are fun, like the Scooby Doo Where are You? fabric, while others are pure posh, in bolts of expensive silks. Bringing it all together are mountains of fancy lace trims, functional elastic, zippers, appliqués and beads. Items like belly dancer belts, sequins and tiaras make this the perfect place to do some costume shopping.
