1. What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? I am a well-rounded hairstylist who serves a variety of hair textures and has a diverse clientele for cuts, color, blowouts, silk presses, highlights, balayage, keratin smoothing services for texture management and many other hair services. My goal is to revive the hair and give beautiful results while using the best hair practices to retain healthy tresses. I constantly further my education and run my business with integrity. My professionalism and knowledge always speaks for itself and will assure almost any client my capability to care for their hair.

2. What was the inspiration to start or run this business? My inspiration to run my own business was to express my creativity while making my own schedule and to offer services that prospects were seeking in my area.

3. What do you love most about your job? I enjoy delivering results! The outcome of anything I create! That's what keeps me motivated in this industry. If the client loves my work, I feel a sense of accomplishment. I also enjoy keeping educated on the latest techniques and products. This industry always has something new to learn and practice; that's what keeps it fun!

4. What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? The best reaction was when I gave a haircut of my choice to the customer and she absolutely loved it! She kept saying, "Oh my goodness, Zarinah! I love how you cut my hair! It looks so much fuller and it looks so good on my face [shape]! She hugged me so tight with a huge grin and couldn't stop looking in the mirror and swinging her hair back and forth! I honestly wasn't expecting that reaction and I still think about it after all these years.
