Once the exclusive domain of birds, squirrels, and Robin Hoods, the forest canopy now shares its secrets with humans at TreeRunner Adventure Raleigh. This aerial adventure park knits together two acres of cheery, maple, and oak trees via a system of ropes courses, wooden bridges, Tarzan swings, and zip lines that challenge even the heartiest participants' courage. Courses here come in four skill levels (with heights ranging from 10-35 feet off the ground), as well as a mini-zip course suitable for kids as young as 7.
