Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial art that focuses primarily on the art of grappling. Grappling is form of close range fighting that involves getting an opponent to the ground, improving position, and isolating limbs in order to seize movement, incapacitate, or cause injury. Black Diamond is a recently established gym in South Reno. Our academy has a friendly and encouraging environment whether you're new to the art or an experienced competitor. Black Diamond offers fundamental to advanced level courses both in the gi (kimono) and no-gi.
