More than 900 frames are on display within Carytown Optometry. Retro styles, funky looks, and functional designs arrive regularly from the likes of Oakley and Ray-Ban. They just need the right set of prescription lenses or tiny flat-screen TVs. That's where Dr. Benjamin Gates and optician Cynthia Allen come in. They determine prescriptions during exams and then fit patients for lenses using the i.Terminal machine, which takes measurements within a tenth of a millimeter. Dr. Gates assesses ocular strengths and weaknesses during comprehensive eye exams while Cynthia fits and sells optical aids, including glasses and contact lenses.
