Every winter, the snow-covered hills at Ruidoso Winter Park fill up with fun-seekers looking to get the most out of the chillier months of the year. Visitors can soar across the winter wonderland on zip lines or race down slopes on snow tubes. In addition to their regular tubes, the park has giant tubes that can accommodate up to 6 riders at a time. While adults and older kids enjoy the main park, kids under 42" tall can play in the Kidz Korral, which features smaller hills and tubes.

The place got really crowded and they refused to honor the groupon.

Horrible customer service. I drove 4 hours with my Groupon, and when I got there they said they weren't accepting them any longer. I asked why if it wasn't expired, and he stated because Groupon had continued selling this offer without their permission. I told them I had driven 4 hours with my kids, and if he could at least give me partial credit for the 75 dollars I had already spent. He said no, to contact Groupon with any complaints, and walked away as I stood there like an idiot with my mouth open. Worst experience ever. Plus the day was hot, and there was hardly any snow. It's definitely overpriced.

Very, very long lines and lack of proper tubes. the Groupon supposedly ended March 19th, but the facility said they wouldn't accept it even as of the 17th. Garbage.
