Crown, Fruitland

Seeking to provide a multifaceted indoor sports facility, Bill Hearne transformed a previously-vacant manufacturing plant into a one-stop shop for adventurous entertainment. At its inception, Crown included 10.5 acres of outdoor fields of Bermuda Grass, along with five indoor turf fields and a multi-surface court to facilitate year-round play. Since then, the facility has expanded and diversified with the Crown Family Entertainment center, where fun-seekers can now engage in friendly competition in the two-story laser tag maze, ascend the heights of the rock climbing wall, and zip about on the 20,000 square-foot roller skating rink. As a family-focused establishment, Crown's Early Learning Center also provides academic assistance for children in the community with before-and-after school programs and summer camps.
