iSofloat's founders, Jim and Sloane Wendell, know first-hand how flotation therapy can relieve pain. Both of them experienced debilitating back pain that they feared would force them to have surgery. But after Sloane did some research on the benefits of floating weightless in a tank of warm water, she decided to try it out, and she dragged Jim along for the experience. The day they spent at the float center changed their lives, so much so that they decided to open their own float spa in San Antonio.

Now, they're introducing others to the benefits of floating, which may include joint and muscle relief, lowered blood pressure, and complete relaxation. Some people, including Sloane, experience better sleep afterward, too.
