Sweet Passions Bakery, San Jose

Sweet Passions Bakery opened in 1998, but owner Dilanthi Perera's baking experience stretches back to 1975. That's the year that, at the behest of a family member, she crafted her first cake and discovered her passion for baking. Today, she shares that zeal with others with her assortment of baked goods, such as special-occasion cakes. Dilanthi also offers three cupcake sizes in flavors like chocolate, almond, and banana, with fillings ranging from apricot amaretto to peanut-butter fudge.
