Dr. Michael A. Stein, board-certified podiatrist and founder of Foot Doctor of the East Bay, draws upon more than 20 years of experience as he treats patients from the ankle down. Having performed more than 5,000 successful laser treatments, Dr. Stein and his team of doctors and staff tackle ailments of the bone, skin, and nail, correcting bunions, vanquishing warts, and ousting ingrown toenails by barking at them until they emerge. Dr. Stein is a fellow of the American Academy of Ambulatory Foot and Ankle Surgery. Combing his expertise and a knack for clear communication, he wrote a book entitled Why Your Feet Hurt: A User's Guide to Foot and Ankle Health to help patients lead healthy lives full of dancing and free of pain.
