Peninsula Gymnastics, San Mateo

At Peninsula Gymnastics' locations in San Mateo and San Carlos, boys and girls get the chance to learn and grow as both gymnasts and young people. The programs foster a safe and fun learning environment, and are available for everyone from preschool-aged (2 through 7 years old) beginners to aspiring competitors aged 7 or older, even those with dreams of one day competing in the Olympics. While the introductory programs take a gentle, welcoming approach, the boys' and girls' competitive programs will challenge young tumblers to exceed even their own expectations through hard work and discipline along with quarterly in-class evaluations. The equipment is also designed to suit the level of the gymnasts, with smaller-sized equipment for the tiniest tumblers and designated equipment for recreational and competitive programs. Classes are available in the morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend; and the gym also plays host to numerous annual in-house gymnastics events for all levels.
