Klondike Penny's Old Time Portrait Studio, Seattle

A mysterious figure from the Yukon Gold Rush days, Klondike Penny owned a successful upscale brothel before she disappeared, leaving just three photographs behind to prove her existence. The photographers at Klondike Penny's Old Time Portrait Studio attempt to take pictures that could easily fit in next to Penny’s. They do this by outfitting guests with an inventory of Gold Rush-era costumes, situating them against a variety of period backdrops, and arming them with props such as lanterns, shotguns, and vintage bowler hats. After sessions, costumes are available for purchase for those who lose themselves completely in their Gold Rush alter ego. That way they can assume their new identity fulltime or at least during weekly trips to the supermarket.
