Though every dish at Saba Ethiopian Cuisine is finger-licking good, it's generally frowned upon to actually lick fingers. That's because in lieu of utensils, chefs serve their signature Ethiopian dishes with a spongy flatbread called injera. These stretchy, slightly sour slices of unleavened bread can be torn into hand-sized pieces that easily scoop up Ethiopian stews. While hearty dinner stews are not Saba Ethiopian Cuisine's menu, traditional breakfast items are, including kita fir-fir, made from shredded injera with spices. When combined with eggs, the entree livens the palate with playful flavors. More familiar entrees such as quiche, pancakes, and sausages grace the menu and the breakfast buffet, along with lunch portions of sambusas filled with tender lentils and beef.
