Paint and Main, Farmingdale

The scent of an art studio—acrylic paint, brushes and fresh canvas—reveals untold promises of creativity and artistic exploration. Budding artists at Paint & Main revel in that smell, using it to inspire them during painting classes for kids and adults.

The adult paint nights rely on BYOB drinks for artistic inspiration, too. Participants sip the drinks while instructors help them turn blank white canvases into their own interpretations of the painting selected for that night. Kids classes function the same way, minus the alcohol. Miniature artists get to paint everything from sugary cupcakes to their math teachers feeding a dog some math homework. Paint & Main also teaches kids drawing and mixed-media skills during after-school sessions.
