Biscotts Pastry and Chai, South Jordan

While coffee houses were hip to London's cafe scene from the late 1600s on, a popular, new cafe item hit the market in the mid-18th century: chai. Even today, chai continues to be a favorite drink among Londoners. Playing off London's cafe trends, Biscotts, as Utah's first chai house, specializes in chai and pastries. While the eatery serves up over 20 hot and cold flavors of chai, it also bakes housemade treats, such as moist, European-style cakes made with less sugar, light whipped cream, and fresh fruit.
