What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

Pet Station is a full service pet store offering a wide variety of pets and supplies at competitive prices. Pet Station sells many different brands of high quality dog and cat food. The store carries a complete line of supplies and accessories for dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, birds, fresh and saltwater fish. The staff collaborates with local veterinarians and product representatives who conduct nutrition and wellness seminars, so that the employees are well versed in the products we sell. Our primary focus is the customer and we will always do our best to satisfy everyone. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and ready to meet the needs of any pet owner.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

Combined, Marshall and Phil have over 40 years of retail experience managing stores ranging in size from 2,700 sq.ft. (current) to over 40,000 sq.ft. Marshall and Phil met while managing Bed Bath and Beyond stores in the Reno/Carson City area. In 2005 Pet Station began operations.

What do you love most about your job?

Providing a unique experience for the customer. Our staff fits products based on the customer¹s needs and budget.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

This place is nice and clean. The staff is awesome. I've never seen a self wash station like this. I asked about it and the young man was very informative about the bath and how to get my large older dog in the bath, how everything works. We chatted about my dogs medical issues and he even recommended some supplies that may help with the dog. And of course I can buy my pet supplies after ward too.
