Batter's Box, Springfield

The sound of cracking bats echoes throughout the batting cages at Batter's Box, where home-run-hungry hitters make a feast out of screeching fastballs and slow-pitch softballs served by the facility's eight pitching machines. Each batting cage accommodates up to five batters at a time; it’s furnished with a pitching machine that can emulate various game conditions with its adjustable pitching speeds that can reach up to 65 miles per hour and a mannequin head that nods before every fastball.
