Fright Haven, Stratford

For the first time in nearly a decade, Fright Haven is back from the dead, re-opening to scare visitors in 20,000-square-feet of indoor chills & thrills. Neither ran nor shine will postpone a trip to a terrifying Halloween haunt. Read on to learn more about each one:

• Dead End Manor: In a town better known for Shakespeare lies a Victorian house at the end of a dead-end road. Years before, the owner of the house invited everyone in the town to a Halloween party that ended with blood-spattered walls and missing bodies. That was 200 years ago. Now, invitations to another Halloween party have starting appearing in mailboxes around town. But who will be brave enough to enter the house?

• Frightmare Fear Institute: Achluophobia: Many people have a paralyzing fear of the dark, and the people at Fright Haven want to exploit that with their Frightmare Pit, where the biggest thing you have to fear might only be in your mind.

• Carnival of Evil 3D: When clowns get too old to perform, they're cast aside. Some retire to the Carnival Retirement Home in Eveville, Connecticut. The home's residents recently decided to open a Halloween attraction filled with clowns. All they want to do is prove they can be trusted around kids and their parents again. But can they?
