Skyline Chili, Sunrise

Good food that is quick and in a very casual and friendly environment. If you've never had Cincinnati style chili before, it's flavor is very different than tomato based chili. It's more of a chocolate based chili. Different at first, but definitely delicious! The mound of cheese on top is awesome (as long as you're not lactose intolerant).

I didn't use the Groupon because I didn't read thee small print to realize it was good only at one store. If I ever am on the east coast of Florida I'll try to use it. I do love Skyline Chili!

Nice lunch, staff was very very friendly. Felt like a great neighborhood place. Food was good, as a first timer. Will go back!

The first time I ever had Skyline Chili was in Cincinnati and I think it's awesome that they are here in South Florida! The chili is really good ... the taste and texture are so unusual. The chili is not a thick, hearty meat and beans chili, it's more of a thin sauce with a bit of a cinnamon or similar spice flavor in the pbackground. Tho that sounds weird...it's just soooo good!! I go for the "ways". The size of the large 5 way (spaghetti, chili, beans, onions, cheese) is ridiculously big and enough for two people to share. For sure a regular would have been plenty. Three of us ordered large and there was about half left on each of our plates! For the price difference it seemed to make sense to get the large - and you should if you want leftovers. Their menu is kind of limited: there's salad and potatoes but aside from the "ways" I've only had the coney - which imho is mediocre at best (I prefer a more firm, darker colored hot dog with a snap in the skin...theirs is soft, pale, skinless and is sort of tasteless to me). In my opinion the chili spaghetti "ways" are the main reason to go, and they never disappoint. You can get all 5 things or get a 3 way or 4 way. I'm sure if you wanted a 2 way it would be fine! I still say get the 5 way ... add a few drops of their delicious hot sauce, crumble on a few oyster crackers and gobble up the goodness. Enjoy!!
