Salomon Firearms Training, LLC (SFT) is owned by Pierre Salomon, an 8 year US Army Combat Veteran, in which he deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan, earning a Combat Action Badge during his tour of duty. Pierre is an NRA Training Counselor/Instructor certified in all firearm disciplines, MA State Police approved Basic Firearms Safety Instructor, and SABRE Red Law Enforcement & Civilian Aerosol Weapons Instructor. Pierre has worked numerous public safety jobs such as an armed guard, EMT-B, and Armed Security Contractor for the Department of Homeland Security/Federal Protective Service.

SFT teaches students the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for the safe handling of firearms and storage of ammunition in the home, as well as the efficient use of firearms for the protection of self/family in and outside the home. Courses cover gun safety rules and procedures, firearm components, loading and unloading, malfunctions, cartridge components, maintenance, responsible ownership, child/family safety, range rules and regulations, and MA laws regulating firearms. Firearms included in training are revolvers, semi-automatic pistols, break/pump/semi action shotguns, and bolt/lever/semi/bullpup action rifles. Caliber sizes range from .22 to 7.62. Firearms training is supplemented by pepper spray courses, SFT Combatives Training (hand-to-hand combat), and NRA Firearms Instructor courses. Courses are available for individuals, security agencies, businesses, and schools.
