"I wanted to work with food because it was an opportunity for my brother and I build something together," says Travis Miller, co-owner of Serial Grillers with his brother, William. "And I love the customers that tell us they just received the best sandwich of their life," he continues. It's something he's heard more than once; the brothers' food-truck-turned-restaurant has accrued acclaim from the likes of Tucson Weekly, which lists the truck as one of the best of 2013. Building on that, the fictional-serial-killer-themed menu has garnered national attention from the likes of Forbes, which counted it among the 25 coolest food trucks in the country.

The dishes themselves are characterized by a hearty flavor inspired by the brothers' time spent in Italy. Dishes range from the "Dexter" chicken cheesesteak to the "Taxi Driver" calzone, a classic pepperoni calzone topped with an over-easy egg.
