As a former emergency medical technician, Overbeke School of Driving owner Ari Klarfeld saw reckless driving and the dangers it caused firsthand. But this didn't stop him from believing that driving is an inherent right for any person. Instead it motivated him to take ownership of Overbeke in order to impress upon new drivers the level of responsibility and maturity that driving requires.

Overbeke's classes help people like low-income teens, senior citizens who have lost their license due to medical problems, and people with disabilities. And adults who didn't pass the Ohio driving test on their first attempt are in luck as well through Overbeke's Abbreviated Adult Driving Course. A successful completion of the course results in a certificate that the driver can bring to their nearest driver exam station.
