Founder and co-owner of SaltVero Alexandria Havey was motivated to open SaltVero for a simple reason: she wanted her mother to feel better. At the time, her mother was suffering from respiratory issues, and after researching potential solutions she came across halotherapy, or salt therapy. Not only can halotherapy be beneficial for the respiratory system, it can also alleviate symptoms associated with asthma, allergies, skin irritations, and stress. At SaltVero, the salt rooms mimic salt caves, with rock panels and salt bricks lining the walls and loose salt piled in soft mounds on the floor. Clients can expect to lounge in comfort during halotherapy sessions, relaxing however they see fit. For best results, regular sessions are recommended.
