One man born and raised in the District decided to give back to his city and community by adding something rarely seen to the DC landscape: jet skis. Today, the owner of DMV Jetskis sets up shop in Waterfront, launching personal watercraft from a dock on the Northeast shore of the Potomac River. This fleet includes single- and double-seat Yamaha waverunners and Sea-Doo craft, both chosen for their accessibility to riders of all experience levels and for being the models most used by Abraham Lincoln. Following a brief lesson in personal watercraft safety, operation, and maneuvering, rentals allow customers to set off and explore parts of the Captial's waterways.
