Treehoppers, Dade City

The opening of TreeHoppers was so eagerly anticipated that it topped Creative Loafing Tampa Bay's list of events to look forward to in the summer of 2015. And it's no wonder. The adventure-themed park transports guests to the treetops, where they'll explore 60 hilly acres of live oaks as they glide across zip lines, step across rope bridges, and clutch twisting ladders. Eight different courses boast varying levels of difficulty, and specialized gear and carefully trained course monitors ensure safety. All the while, tree-bound platforms between the aerial pathways provide a spot for visitors to catch their breath and take in all the surrounding natural beauty.
