About Treehoppers

The opening of TreeHoppers was so eagerly anticipated that it topped Creative Loafing Tampa Bay's list of events to look forward to in the summer of 2015. And it's no wonder. The adventure-themed park transports guests to the treetops, where they'll explore 60 hilly acres of live oaks as they glide across zip lines, step across rope bridges, and clutch twisting ladders. Eight different courses boast varying levels of difficulty, and specialized gear and carefully trained course monitors ensure safety. All the while, tree-bound platforms between the aerial pathways provide a spot for visitors to catch their breath and take in all the surrounding natural beauty.

There are no bathrooms, just some really nasty outhouses....go to the bathroom before you leave your house!

Fantastic experience! Leigh was great and gave us a thorough lesson so we felt comfortable using the equipment since we had never zip-lined before. I love the double locking system and the platforms and cables are not screwed or nailed into the trees so they are not damaged. We will be back!!!
