As a 20-year massage-therapy veteran, she's grown to combine Swedish and Lomi-Lomi massage with trigger-point and gentle stretching in her sessions. And, because she works intuitively, it is also common for her to incorporate energy work as well as sound healing.

The historic building houses multiple business's. There is plenty of off street parking. Her unit is at the top floor so it’s nice to see the antique finishes still maintained like a museum. Her unit is very clean and decorated. She knows her skill and is very professional.

It was a good massage and Joy was plenty nice but I was surprised how much we talked. She asked a few questions about what I do for work and it also turned into a conversation where she shared some of her opinions on the government - both of which made it pretty hard to relax. I'd still go back though because the massage was good

I'm sorry you felt that way, I am only human, and talking can happen, if you don't want to talk, then don't talk to me, if I see people go silent, I will go silent. I'm not a robot tho, sometimes I'm sincerely interested in people's lives, normal to chat.

I really was amazed by joy. Her warm welcoming. The moments of silence and moments of laughter. She was kind. And knowledgeable in her works. I would recommend her to anyone who would want to try reiki. Whether it’s the First time or it’s been a long time. You will leave lighter either way. 🙏 thank you joy for the “spring cleaning” 😜

The masseuse is nothing like advertised. I was late - I apologized for the unexpected traveling time on my map. Wow, the demeanor, the rough massage, the coldness of the room - it is 50 F outside, and her cold hands, the rough and thin paper sheets, and her inappropriate comments during the RUSH massage. She was coughing and sneezing the entire massage while telling me to RELAX! One star was getting that knot out of my neck. This is actually the worst service I've ever had. The place is so beat up, I am starting to question where the other 5-star reviews come from.

Sophia my deamenor was fine you were almost half hour late, so I said what do you want to focus on, I cannot go over time, I have clients after, and have to go on lunch, dinner breaks. I gave you a wonderful massage, I complimented you on your hair, I probably talked to you once, I was not sneezing. I may have cleared my throat. My room is warm, I have a table warmer, and an oil warmer, and can turn it up. I did not give you a rough massage, and always say I can slow it down. Also I use flannel sheets! The place is so beat up? This is one of the most beautiful historical buildings, very professional, and well maintained. My office is insanely beautiful!
