Does Bath & Body Works Have A Rewards Program?

Yes, they do. Bath and Body Works is currently testing a new rewards program in select areas to make the program more streamlined, easier to use and help you get more rewards faster.

The My Bath & Body Works program is a rewards membership program within the Bath & Body Works app. If you’re in an area they’re testing the program in, then you could be eligible for a free full-sized product valued at up to $16.50.

You either have to be signed in to your BathandBodyWorks.com account for online shopping, or show your redemption code from the Wallet section of your account when shopping in the store.

You’re also eligible for a welcome offer and a birthday gift each year as a member. However, the rewards change regularly, so you never know what you’re going to get. Which makes it a really fun surprise!

How to join My Bath & Body Works

Joining the My Bath & Body Works rewards program is pretty straightforward. You can either sign up online or via their app. The app works on both Apple and Android phones, so anyone with a smartphone can apply. If you don’t have a smartphone, you can still sign up online via their website.

Once you download the app, you’ll need to enter both a billing and a shipping address. In order to complete the program enrollment process you’ll also need to enter your first and last name, email address, phone number, and zip code. You must also be at least 18 to sign up for the rewards program.

However, in order to qualify completely for the program, your zip code must be one of the eligible zip codes listed on their site. If you happen to live in one of these lucky areas, you’re good to go. If not, you’ll have to wait until the program is available in your area.

If you’re eligible, you’ll begin earning 1 point for every $1 spent on products. This does exclude shipping, handling fees, taxes, gift card purchases, gift wrap and gift-wrap fees.

How Do I Earn Bath & Body Works Rewards?

For every eligible $1 you spend, you earn one point towards your next reward. Eligible purchases include the actual amount paid for products or services after any applicable discounts have been applied. You’ll need to earn 75 points to earn one reward.

You must identify yourself as a participant of the My Bath & Body Works program at the time of purchase for the balance to go towards your rewards. Points earned towards your rewards balance will show up in your account within 72 hours of the eligible purchase.

Earning online

If you’re shopping online then you must be signed in to your BathandBodyWorks.com account each time you make a purchase. If you fail to sign in prior to the purchase, then the purchase will not count. Also, all purchases made up to 7 days prior to enrollment will be valid towards the rewards program.

Earning in-store

If you prefer to shop in participating stores, then the process is slightly different. You’ll need to make sure you have your program barcode up and ready to be scanned at checkout.

If you make a purchase totaling $50, but it gets reduced to $42 after discounts, then you will have added 42 points to your rewards bank. Once you have reached 75 points in your rewards bank, then you can cash the points in for an eligible product up to $16.50 in value.

What is an eligible purchase?

An eligible purchase is the actual amount paid for goods and services by you. However, this amount only applies to the full amount you paid after all discounts. The eligible amount doesn’t count towards shipping, handling, gift cards, gift-wrap fees or taxes either.

So, if you purchase products for $25, but the total comes up to $26.81 with tax, you’ll only receive 25 points for the actual purchase price paid for the products.

Claiming after purchase

If you want to claim rewards points after a purchase, you may be out of luck. Bath & Body Works clearly states that you must be logged in prior to making online purchases for them to count. Or if shopping in stores, you must identify yourself as a participant and have your barcode ready to scan.

If you haven’t signed up for the rewards program at the time of purchase, you’ll have 7 days to do so in order for the purchase to count.

How To Redeem Rewards

In order to redeem your rewards, the process is slightly different if you’re shopping online via in stores. If you’re shopping online, you’ll need to be signed in to your bathandbodyworks.com account and put in your rewards code in the Rewards Code Box at checkout. The discount will apply to the most expensive eligible product in the transaction.

If you’re shopping in stores, then you’ll need to have your app or account up on your phone. Identify yourself as a participant in the program and have your redemption code displayed for the sales clerk to scan.

Welcome offer

If you sign up for the My Bath & Body Works rewards program, you’ll automatically become eligible for a welcome offer. However, the welcome offer is subject to change, so it’s difficult to predict what it will be. Once you sign up, you should get a welcome offer in your account for some sort of discount or product.

Birthday Reward

The birthday reward is very similar to the welcome offer by Bath & Body Works in that the offer frequently changes. You’re eligible if you’re a member of the My Bath & Body Works Rewards program. In that case, the offer is usually sent to you annually around your birthday.

Returning an item acquired with a Reward

If you decide you don’t want or don’t like a product you have purchased with rewards points, then you can return it. This is really good news! You can exchange this item for any other eligible item within the monetary guidelines.

An example of this is if you originally got a $15 bottle of lotion but decided you really didn’t like the scent. You can bring it back to the store and swap it out for a different lotion under $16.50 that you might like better.

Can I use Rewards in combination with coupons?

Rewards can be combined with other coupons when checking out. However, any coupons and discounts will be applied to other items in your cart or in-store purchase, and not the reward item. Also, the value of the reward item won’t count towards any qualifying purchase requirements for the other coupons or discounts being applied.

Is There An Expiration Date On Rewards?

There is an expiration date on all rewards earned. You’ll have 90 days from the date the rewards are earned to use them. You can earn up to 3,750 points per year to use for eligible products.

Every year on your enrollment anniversary, your points can be reset to zero if you have earned the full points limit of 3,750 and haven’t spent them. Therefore, it would be wise to keep an eye on your rewards points and your enrollment date so you know when you must redeem your rewards
