What is the Bed Bath & Beyond Price Match Policy?
The Bed Bath & Beyond price match policy is a great way to get the item you want at the lowest possible price. With it, shoppers who find a lower price on the same item can get the low price matched from this popular retailer.
If you're considering using the Bed Bath & Beyond price match policy, do a thorough search before you buy to see if the item qualifies. The item must be offered at another direct competitor or online merchant. It also can’t be a clearance or liquidation item, but it can be on regular sale.
If you’ve already made a purchase, but forgot to try and price match it, you might still be in luck. Bed Bath & Beyond will honor price matching for a certain amount of time after purchase. The policy works with other retailers’ prices as well as their own.
Items That Qualify for a Bed Bath & Beyond Price Match
In order for an item to qualify for the Bed Bath & Beyond guarantee, it has to meet a few specifications. First, it must be the same item, including the exact model number. It must also be offered at a direct competitor or online merchant. It must be in stock for purchase from the other merchant, too. If your item meets those basic requirements, then it may qualify.
Bed Bath & Beyond Price Match Exclusions
Even if your item meets the above requirements, it still may not qualify for the Bed Bath & Beyond price match guarantee. This is because of additional exclusions in the fine print.
One such exclusion is that the competing retailer must be a major retailer and not a marketplace seller. Bed Bath & Beyond will also not price match any used or refurbished items.
The item must also be in stock with the retailer and can’t be on clearance or liquidation. This exclusion includes any item that has a sale language of “limited time, ”limited quantity” or “while supplies last.”
When Can a Bed Bath & Beyond Price Match be Applied?
You can request a price match at the time of purchase, or up to 14 days after the purchase date. After-purchase price match covers both Bed Bath & Beyond sales and sales at direct competitor stores.
For example, you might purchase the Ninja BL610 Professional Blender at the regular $99.99 price, but then see it on sale for $79.99 a few days later. You can bring your receipt back to Bed Bath & Beyond and they’ll refund the difference.
The exception is that price match doesn’t work with clearance items, seasonal items or promotional sales events, such as the Bed Bath & Beyond President’s Day sale.
Can Coupons be Used With a Bed Bath & Beyond Price Match
The Bed Bath & Beyond price match promise can’t be stacked with retailer coupons. You can choose either to price match the item or use Bed Bath & Beyond coupons, but not both. However, you can use manufacturer’s coupons to slash prices along with the price match guarantee. This loophole only works if the manufacturer offering the coupon doesn’t have any retail stores. If they do, you won’t be able to stack their coupon with a price match savings.
Do Bed Bath & Beyond Price Match Online Prices In-Store?
Bed Bath & Beyond will price match their online prices for in-store purchases. So, if you find something on their website offered at a lower price than what you find in-store, they’ll match the price. Just show them the item on their website, and as long as it’s the exact same item offered, you’ll get the discounted price.
