What Is Afterpay?
Afterpay is an interest-free payment option that lets you buy what you want and pay it off in four equal installments. The first installment is due at the time of purchase, and the remaining three will be due every two weeks after that. You can use Afterpay online at michaelkors.com or any Michael Kors retail store.
How Does Afterpay Work?
To use Afterpay, you’ll need to set up an account (subject to approval) and be at least 18 years of age. Additionally, have the following information handy:
- Email address
- Phone number
- Address
- Date of birth
- Debit/credit card
Shopping online: Simply add items to your cart and select Afterpay as your payment method at checkout.
Shopping in-store: Set up an Afterpay Card in the app, add to your digital wallet, and tap to pay with either Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay.
Managing Your Afterpay Account
Afterpay incurs no interest fees or additional charges if you make your payments on time. If you don’t, late fees are capped at 25% of your purchase price, and your account will be paused until you’re back on your regular payment schedule.

You can easily track your account balance and credit limit on the Afterpay app, and you'll receive timely reminders when your next payment is due. Try to pay before the due date, as your credit limits will gradually increase with recurring on-time payments.
How to Close Your Afterpay Account
To close your Afterpay account, send your request to info@afterpay.com. Your request may take up to 30 days to process, and you’ll need to pay off any outstanding balance before your account is closed.
