Michael Kors Warranty | What's Covered and How Do I Get My Products Repaired?

The Michael Kors warranty is extensive, but your coverage will vary from item to item.

Michael Kors Purse Repairs and Other Leather Products

Michael Kors Handbags are protected against defects for one year from the original purchase date. Michael Kors will repair or replace free of charge, but the customer will be responsible for shipping costs.

Fill out a Michael Kors warranty and repairs determination form explaining the damage, and a consultant will work with you on a solution. 

MK Luggage Warranty

Luggage from Michael Kors is protected against manufacturing defects for 1 year from the original purchase date. Michael Kors will repair or replace free of charge, but the customer will be responsible for shipping costs.

Manufacturing defects include, but are not limited to, broken or malfunctioning wheels/zippers. Their guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear or any damages from accessories, consumable parts or products, such as portable batteries purchased from third parties used with Michael Kors luggage.

MK Footwear Warranty

Subject to approval and some exclusions, footwear is protected against defects in materials and/or workmanship for 90 days from the original purchase date. The original receipt or other valid proof of purchase is required. Michael Kors requests that you return to the original place of purchase or contact Michael Kors Customer service by email.

Michael Kors Watch Warranty

Michael Kors watches and smartwatches are protected starting the date of purchase by a two-year warranty with adequate proof of purchase. If covered, they will repair the component, or the watch will be replaced free of charge with the same or a comparable watch if it proves to be defective in material or workmanship during normal use. Refer to the warranty booklet that comes with your watch for the exact language.

Michael Kors Eyewear and Sunglasses Warranty

Michael Kors eyewear is protected from the original date of purchase by a two-year limited warranty with the original proof of purchase. If the eyewear proves to have defects in material or workmanship with normal use anytime within the warranty period, Michael Kors will replace them with the same or a comparable product at no charge.

Michael Kors Jewelry Warranty 

Michael Kors' jewelry is protected from the original date of purchase by a one-year limited warranty with proof of purchase. If the jewelry appears to have defects from workmanship under normal use anytime within the first year, Michael Kors will replace the item with the same or a comparable product for free.

Important Care Notes from Michael Kors: 

"Michael Kors jewelry is made of precious metals combined with various elements including semi-precious stones. Apply perfume and cosmetics prior to putting on your jewelry. To clean your jewelry, wipe with the soft buffing cloth provided. Keep your jewelry away from moisture as it promotes tarnish. We recommend storing your jewelry in a clean, dry place, such as the pouch that the product comes in."

Michael Kors Sterling Silver Jewelry 

Michael Kors sterling silver jewelry is not covered under Michael Kors. Instead, it is warranted by Fossil Group, Inc.* Fossil Group offers a one-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase or, if the item is purchased within the European Economic Area, two years from the original date of purchase. 

The Michael Kors Sterling Silver Jewelry warranty covers repairs of materials and manufacturing defects. A receipt is the only acceptable proof of purchase. Visit the repair site for more details.
