What is Office Depot’s Return Policy?

In-Store Return Policy

If you purchased your items in-store or online, just bring your items with the original receipt to a checkout counter in any Office Depot location for your refund or exchange. The exact amount of time you have to make your return varies by item (see below). No receipt? Most items are able to be returned or exchanged in-store with your valid ID.

Online Return Policy

If you ordered online, you also have the option of returning items by mail. To do so:

Go to your order history page and select the order you want to return.
Click "Return" in the upper right corner
Select the items you want to return or exchange.
Print your free return label and drop your item off at any carrier location.

Commonly Returned Items

The standard Office Depot return policy covers most of the items you would need to bring back, but certain big-ticket items might have a different return policy. Be sure to check the return policy on the product page or on your receipt. Here’s a look of commonly returned items and their policies:

Office Depot Chair Return Policy	14 days unassembled and in original packaging with UPC code. Parts and manuals must be included. Applies to all Office Depot furniture.
Office Supplies Return Policy	90 days, unopened in original packaging.
Ink & Toner Return Policy	30 days, unopened in original packaging.
Software, CDs, DVDs & Video Games Return Policy	14 days, unopened in original packaging. Opened packaging can be exchanged for the same item, but no refunds will be extended. Downloadable software cannot be returned.
Office Depot® Brand Products Return Policy	Can be returned any time in original packaging.
