Sephora Beauty Insider Breakdown
The rewards program is simple. There are three levels:
- Beauty Insider
- VIB
- Rouge
It is free to sign up and all new members begin automatically at the Beauty Insider level. To reach VIB status, members have to spend $350 in one calendar year. To reach Rouge status, the yearly spend is $1,000. As you move up the ranks of the program, so to do the rewards.
Beauty Insider Benefits at Sephora
Once you qualify for VIB or Rouge status, it is valid for the remainder of the calendar year that you earned it and all of the following calendar year as well. To get the maximum benefit, you should try to hit the spending minimum as early in the year as possible, that way you can enjoy the perks for as long as possible.

You’ll become a VIB when you spend $350 in one calendar year. The Rouge status threshold is $1,000 in a calendar year.
How Do I Redeem Rewards?
In-store you’ll see the available rewards at checkout and an employee can tell you how many points you have to redeem. Online, you’ll be able to add Rewards at checkout.
What Happens to My Points if I Return Items?
All points earned, including bonus points, will be deducted from your account when merchandise is returned. It is possible your account could have a negative balance after merchandise is returned. Once reached, VIB and Rouge status ARE NOT affected by returns.
How Do I Redeem Beauty Insider Cash Rewards?
Redeem your Beauty Insider Cash Reward at checkout, both in-store and online. You can use one $10 off cash reward per purchase. The purchase total must be more than $10 to use.
If I Return an Item that I Used Beauty Insider Cash to Buy, Will I be Refunded for the Cash/Points?
Beauty Insider Cash is non-refundable. If you return the purchase, you’ll be refunded what you paid after the $10 reward was applied.
