Sunglass Hut Return Policy
If your newly purchased sunglasses don’t turn out to be what you’re looking for, you can return them for a full refund. You have 30 days from the original purchase date to return the unwanted sunglasses, and it typically takes 3–5 days to process a refund.
In order to receive a full refund, you’ll need proof of purchase (a receipt or confirmation email) and the original packaging. If you don’t have proof of purchase, you can still return the item but only for exchange or store credit. Keep in mind: If you don’t have proof of purchase you will be credited for the current price of the sunglasses you’re returning. That means if they’ve gone on sale since you last purchased them, you’ll be credited less than the price you paid.

For Purchases Made Online at Sunglasshut.com
- Mail back your return with free UPS return shipping. You’ll need the order number (which should be in the order confirmation email, the shipment confirmation email, and the packing slip). Once you have that number, you can start the return here.
- Return to any Sunglass Hut retail store. Returns may not be made at Sunglass Hut at Macy’s; if you purchased your Sunglass Hut sunglasses at Macy’s, follow the return instructions on your packing slip.
For Purchases Made at a Sunglass Hut Retail Store

Sunglass Hut Exchange Policy
Not satisfied with your shades but still need a pair? Similar to its return policy, the Sunglass Hut exchange policy allows you to exchange (or get store credit) for up to 30 days after your original purchase date. Just head into any Sunglass Hut location or follow the same process mentioned above to ship back your order.
Sunglass Hut Perfect Pair Promise
Every pair of sunglasses purchased from Sunglass Hut comes with the Perfect Pair Promise (or really, promises) to keep them looking brand new for longer. Here’s the list of perks to take advantage of:
- Free personalized adjustments: Frames fitting a little too tight or a little too loose? Take your glasses into any Sunglass Hut store and ask for an adjustment to get them fitting perfectly.
- Free custom cleaning: While you’re taking your glasses in to get adjusted, get them cleaned too! Keep your shades looking like new throughout their lifetime. Go in anytime or even multiple times for this free service.
- Replace damaged glasses: (Only valid for Sun Perks members; sign up here!) Sometimes sunglasses get scratched up or broken. Sunglass Hut’s “Oops Coverage” allows you to take in any broken or damaged glasses purchased in the last 12 months for a 50% discount on a replacement pair. To get this discount, you will need the glasses and proof of purchase. It also only applies to glasses of equal or greater value.
- Quality insurance: Sunglass Hut’s “Assured Quality” promise allows you to bring in any defective sunglasses for a free replacement within 24 months of the original purchase. For this, you will need the glasses and proof of purchase. If the glasses have been damaged or misused in any way, they may not qualify.
