What Is the Ulta Beauty Credit Card?

Ulta has two options for store credit cards: The Ultamate Rewards Credit Card and the Ultamate Rewards Mastercard. The main difference between the two is where they can be used. The Ultamate Rewards Credit Card can only be used online at Ulta.com or at Ulta Beauty retail stores. The Ultamate Rewards Mastercard, however, can be used wherever Mastercard is accepted. Both cards will help you earn Ultamate Rewards points faster than the Ultamate loyalty program alone, which you can use to save on Ulta products and services. Here’s a breakdown of what you get with each card:

Ultamate Rewards Credit Card

• Can only be used at Ulta stores and on Ulta.com (cannot be used on Ulta products at Target)
• Earn 2 points for every dollar spent at Ulta Beauty, in-store or online
• 20% off your first order
• No annual fee
• 32.24% APR (this varies)

Ultamate Rewards Mastercard

• Can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted
• Earn 2 points for every dollar spent at Ulta Beauty, in-store or online
• Earn 1 point for every $3 spent outside Ulta purchases
• Get 500 welcome bonus points by spending $500 within the first 90 days outside of Ulta Beauty
• 20% off your first order
• No annual fee
• 23.24%–32.24% APR based on creditworthiness (this varies)

What is Ultamate Rewards Program? 

Ultamate Rewards is Ulta’s free loyalty program, where you can earn points and move up membership tiers to unlock bigger perks and savings. As a basic Rewards Member, you’ll earn 1 point for every dollar you spend at Ulta (this gets bumped up to 2 points if you use an Ulta Credit Card).

How do I apply for the Ultamate Rewards Mastercard?
You can apply online here or at an Ulta Beauty store. Approval is subject to credit approval (usually 640+ credit scores are approved). If approved, you should receive a card in the mail within 7 to 10 business days. 

What are the annual fees and APR?
There is no annual fee for either credit card! APR is 23.24%-32.24% depending on creditworthiness. 

How do I make a payment?

• Pay online here. Simply click “Manage Account” and you should see payment options. There is no fee associated with paying online.
• Pay by phone by calling 866-257-9195. Fees may apply for transactions over the phone.
