• You have 60 days to return items purchased at an UIta beauty store or on Ulta.com with your original receipt or confirmation email to get a full refund. 
• You have up to 90 days to exchange an item or receive a store credit. 
• Purchases made at Ulta Beauty Target location, are not accepted at Ulta Beauty stores or online.

Can you return makeup at Ulta?

Yes, you can make returns within 60 days for a full refund, so long as the makeup is unused and in its original packaging with all parts/pieces included. You have up to 90 days for an exchange or store credit. Ulta Beauty's return policy does not permit the resale of used, damaged, or expired products.

What is Ulta’s in-store return policy?

• Bring anything you’d like to return to any Ulta Beauty store, and any of the associates can assist you with your return. 
• Ulta products returned within 60 days of the original purchase that include the original receipt will be fully refunded via the original form of payment. You have up to 90 days to return items for a store credit.
• For Ultamate Rewards Members who don’t have a receipt, purchases can be verified with your Ultamate Rewards member ID. You will be fully refunded via the original form of payment (i.e., cash, Ulta credit card, credit, debit, etc.). If you don’t have the original payment method, you’ll receive in-store credit.

What is Ulta’s online return policy?

• If you made your purchase online or in the Ulta App, you may return by mail and send to the address below. There will be an additional shipping cost to process your return.

What if I don’t have my receipt?                                  

Ulta is able to locate purchases made using an Ultamate Rewards member ID or ulta.com account. Otherwise, you may still be able to return your order for store credit. 

What if I want to make an exchange for the exact same product?

• If you would like to exchange a product for the same item, no payment is required. However, if you are looking to exchange for an item at a higher price point, you will need to pay the difference in price and sales tax.
• If you exchange for a different item at a lower price point, you will be refunded the difference in price and sales tax.
