Verizon Wireless: Hot to Get Disney+, Hulu, & Apple Music for Free

If you’re thinking of upgrading to Verizon Unlimited, you could recoup some of that cost with free streaming subscriptions—most notably to Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and Apple Music. These add-on promotions vary by wireless plans and subscriber status, but Groupon Coupons has everything you need to know to get the most out of Verizon Unlimited—including how to save with our own collection of Verizon coupons. Free Streaming Perks By Verizon Unlimited Plan

If you’re new to Verizon, you can get 6- or 12-months of free streaming services right off the bat depending on your plan.

Verizon Add-On Promotions for Existing Plans

Verizon Wireless Disney+ Add-On

If you have a Verizon Unlimited plan you can qualify for six months of free Disney+, but you’ll need to enroll for this add-on by 11/30/2021. After six months, the account will auto-renew for $7.99/month (charged through your Verizon bill) unless you cancel. To be eligible for this offer, you must be 18 or older and must have signed up for your unlimited plan before 8/20/2020. (Find more FAQs on this promo here.) 

What if I already have Disney+?

If you qualify for this promotion and are already a Disney+ subscriber, you can still take advantage of it! Just sign up with the same email you used to buy your existing Disney+ subscription. That subscription will then be paused for six months while you enjoy some free viewing. 

How to Cancel When a Promotion Ends

Log into your My Verizon account online or through the app and click “Manage Subscription”. There should be an option to cancel under “Pick Your Streaming Services”.

Verizon Wireless Disney Bundle 

You can get a Disney+, Hulu (the plan with ads), and ESPN+ bundle for free ($13.99/month value) if you have at least one Get More Unlimited or Play More Unlimited plan on your Verizon account. A few things to note: business accounts and prepaid accounts are not eligible, you must be 18 or older to sign up, and you’ll need to enroll by 11/30/2021. You can also only use this promo while you’re on a qualifying Verizon account; if you switch to a non-qualifying plan you’ll be charged $13.99/month for the bundle (unless you cancel the promo). 

If you already have a Disney Plus promotion and don’t qualify to switch to this deal, you can upgrade to the Disney Bundle for $6 a month (but it will only last during the six months of your Disney Plus promotion). 

If you are not on an eligible plan for this promo, you can switch your plan and sign up for it. But be sure to wait until your plan is active or you’ll be charged $13.99/month. 

How to Add the Disney Bundle to Your Verizon Account

1. Log into your My Verizon account either online or on the My Verizon app, then go to your account. 
2. Click on “More”, select “Add-ons” in the drop-down menu, and then click on “Entertainment”. 
3. From there you can connect your Disney+ account.

Verizon Wireless Discovery+ Add-On

Enjoy some ad-free Discovery+ with your Verizon Unlimited plan. You can get 12 months free (Play More or Get More Unlimited plans) or 6 months free (Start or Do More Unlimited plans) if you enroll by 11/30/2021. Like the Disney+ promo, this plan will renew automatically once the promo ends. If you don’t cancel you’ll be charged $6.99/month through Verizon. If you have a qualifying plan, head over to your My Verizon account to add this add-on. 

Verizon Wireless Google Play Pass

If you’re a gamer (and have an Android device), this is the add-on for you. Depending on your plan, you can get the Google Play Pass for free for 12 or 6 months. After your promotional time ends, you’ll be billed $4.99/month for this subscription. (New Mexico residents will not be  renewed automatically.) Business accounts and prepaid accounts do not qualify for this. To add the Google Play Pass promotion to your Android device, sign in to your My Verizon account and select “Add-ons & Apps”. On this page, you’ll see an option for Google Play Pass—select it and follow the prompts. 

Verizon Wireless Apple Music Add-On

An Apple Music subscription is included in select Unlimited plans. Get More Unlimited and Play More Unlimited (that were subscribed before 8/20/2020) get Apple Music free of charge included in their plan. Start Unlimited, Play More Unlimited 5G UW (subscribed after 8/20/2020), and Do More Unlimited can get six months of Apple Music for free. After that promotion ends, you’ll be billed $9.99/month (or you cancel). 

If you already have an Apple Music subscription, be sure to sign up for the promotion with the same email address on the existing subscription—you’ll be directed to cancel your duplicate Apple Music subscription. All of your saved content and settings will still be linked to your Apple ID—you won’t lose anything! All those personalized playlists are safe.
