How do I use my Rover promo code?

Select an offer, copy the code, and follow the link to the Rover website where you can create an account or sign in. Browse the various pet-related services until you find the one you would like to book. During the payment process, a ‘Promo Code’ box will appear. Paste your code into this box, and hit ‘Redeem’ to apply your savings.

How much does it cost to book a Rover sitter or dog walker?

Rover sitters and dog walkers manage their own rates, so if you shop around, you’re bound to find one that suits your budget. The total cost of your booking will depend on the service you require, the sitter’s rates, and your own specific needs. Some sitters may detail additional rates in their profile, such as pick-up/drop-off and holiday rates. To view a complete list of these rates, click the ‘Additional Services & Rates’ icon under your chosen sitter’s profile photo.

Will I get a refund if I cancel my Rover booking?

Sometimes plans change, and you may need to cancel your Rover booking. However, whether you are eligible for a refund depends on your sitter’s individual cancellation policy. If you decide you need to cancel, you can do so directly from the Rover app or via your computer. Please see the Rover FAQ page for step-by-step instructions.

Is Rover right for my dog?

Rover offers the largest marketplace of pet sitters and dog walkers in the world and is designed to help you find the right match for your pet. You will find sitters and dog walkers with experience working with puppies, disabled dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, and everything in between!

Top tips are to be upfront about your dog’s needs from the very first contact and to arrange a meet and greet to put both your minds at ease.

What if my Rover sitter or dog walker cancels at the last minute?

If you find yourself on the receiving end of an awkwardly-timed cancellation, Rover’s reservation protection will come to the rescue. If a sitter or dog walker cancels your booking within seven days of your service start date, Rover will give you a full refund, and provide remuneration to help cover the cost of a new service. You will also receive a refund if any day of your booking falls on one of Rover’s recognized holiday dates, and your sitter or dog walker cancels within 14 days of your start date.

How do I modify my Rover booking?
