Holland to Huntington Beach—that's the journey many of the stylists at Passion Hair and Nail Salon have taken, studying specialized beauty techniques such as coloring, updos, and makeup application in the Netherlands before coming to America. But the trip must have been worth the effort, as Passion has been in business for nearly 30 years and its stylists have won awards at local hair shows. The stylists pass on their knowledge through the salon's beauty school, Supervisor Passion. Here, students learn advanced haircut techniques and skills such as coloring hair blond, as well as business methods that include how to satisfy customers, how to retain clients, and how to set goals.
