When she was still learning the nuances of her craft in massage school, Rhonda Lakip-Ochoa wasted no time sharing her newfound powers with those who needed them most. After classes ended, she’d practice what she’d learned that day on her mother, who had cancer, and the seniors under her charge during a day job as a caregiver. Now, as the principle practitioner at A Healing Touch Massage Therapy/Spa LLC, Rhonda draws on these formative experiences to soothe clients from all walks of life. During in-office sessions, she unknots kinked muscles with bodywork drawn from massage traditions including deep tissue and hot stone. Rhonda and her team of certified massage therapists also schedule in-home appointments, arriving at area doorsteps bearing massage tables, lotions, and calming music.

Although she’s now a full-fledged massage therapist, Rhonda never forgot her commitment to bringing peace to folks dealing with health issues. Today, she still caters to clients with Alzheimer's and dementia, easing their ills with strokes that are lighter, slower than usual. She also massages individuals undergoing cancer treatments, MS, and other illnesses at her non-profit facility, A Healing Garden.
