Over time, hair has been evolutionarily selected to appear higher and higher on the human body, until by the late '50s it had congregated almost entirely on the head. Make sure your pièce de résistance is served à la mode with today's deal: for $45, you get $100 worth of salon services at À La Mode Salon. This salon is located in the colorful gray area between Buckhead and Midtown and flaunts products of Aveda and Kevin Murphy.
A team of talented hair stylists and colorists at À La Mode use their scissor hands and bionic eyes to carefully trim and style the headges of men ($45–$70), women ($50–$85), and children aged 2–12 ($40). Prices are based on an initial consultation and the extent of services. Escape comparisons to a celebrity doppelgänger by changing the hue of your mane. Select a suitable service from a full menu of coloring options; a single process starts at $70, a double starts at $120, and a full foil starts at $130. Treat your hair to one of À La Mode's luxurious specialty services that revitalize and long-term stylize, such as a keratin complete treatment or bionic thermal straightening (each starts at $300). Add on a quick brow, lip, or chin wax ($15 to $35) to clear away unwanted wispy strays in one fell swoop.
Unlike head-shrinkers who decrease brain space and increase thetan levels, head-shapers are the guerilla artists of the 21st century, inserting their stunning creations into the everyday world via a newly beautified noggin. The spruce crew at À La Mode Salon is well versed in matching clients with a hairstyle that will proudly complement the façade upon which it rests.

- [Stylist Jacqui Angrisani] took my boring fine hair and gave it body that I didn't know existed!! My hair looks fuller yet polished. Jacqui showed me how to style it at home and informed me on which products can work wonders and which products to avoid. She really listens to what I want and also gives real advice on what style will be fun and flattering. – lesley, Citysearch

About À La Mode Salon
Hairstylist Chadd Jonesmith started tending tresses 18 years ago at Van Michael Salon. Two salons later, he opened À La Mode, which is French for "in fashion," not "ice cream hairdo". His team of stylists live up to this name by drawing on their knowledge as educators and platform artists. A student of Vidal Sassoon, Chadd sets a good example for them by teaching for Kevin Murphy—a famous hairstylist who worked on Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge. He also brought his color bar out into the open to create a more social environment where clients could have their new tints applied and talk casually among themselves. A La Mode Salon is now an Aveda Concept Salon.
