After establishing a name for herself with makeup line Adora Bella Cosmetics, Korinne Lio opened Adora Bella Salon North Jersey with her stylist husband in 2006, and the duo has been sprucing up manes and mugs ever since. Along with their close-knit team of beauty-industry professionals, the husband-and-wife team strives to maintain a cozy, family-friendly vibe, where kids can feel just as welcome as the ladies who drop in for after-hours makeover parties. The couple compare their accessibly elegant studio to a shabby, chic living room, complete with crystal chandeliers, a tin ceiling, and a satellite radio that broadcasts fun ‘80s tunes, current hits, and occasional gossip from salons stationed on the moon.
